What is the "official" direction of the emblem? From top left to lower right, or from top right to lower left? Another question is, is it a river (the Rhine?) or a comet?

- As told by Felix Naeff (at the Naeffenfest 2024), already his father Paul Naeff engaged in figuring out the "official" direction of the emblem, however without success. A specific direction of the emblem might also be unimportant, because for example a flag - when not made out of two individual emblems - would show the emblem mirrored from the back.
